Beda's work includes both fiction and poetry.

Here is an example of one of her short stories which featured in the National Short Story day.

It is a fairy tale of which Beda says. "Fairy tales are a form of short story that stretch the imagination. Events are strange and unpredictable. There is a fine line between what is real and what isn't. They are often underpinned with a profound moral tale. With this in mind I tried to write a modern fairy tale, Cinderella."
